Sunshine and blue skies are sometimes what we need to brighten our mood and to dry out a wet basement too!  We're slowly rolling into spring and with it come the snow melts and spring storms. Just when you think you're done with the slushy, wet, and cold snow, the spring downpours begin.  

Take a bit of time in the spring to check your home after a harsh winter.  Are your downspouts working and still connected to the house?  Has your foundation held up through the winter months and your home is crack-free and more importantly, leak-free.  What condition is your roof?  Do you have a walk up basement entry and is the drain free of debris? These and many other check list items should be reviewed each spring to ensure your home stays as "water proof" as possible.
